SOLUTION
Nurses and PMHNPs both use therapeutic communication, but their techniques often vary due to differences in training and role focus. Whereas a nurse can offer comforting and brief words when seeing the patient for a few minutes both during the room rounds and while offering discharges, a PMHNP examines the clients psychological self, and in a more time-limited way will explore the clients pathology.
